Greenleaf Filter Control

The Greenleaf Filter Control is a rapid gravity filter based on siphon — not valve — control technology. Multiple cells form a compact and economical arrangement around a control core, saving space and eliminating pipe galleries. The Greenleaf Filter operates at the same rate as a conventional filter, yet it occupies only two-thirds of the space.

  • The filter is always under a positive head and is impossible to shock or surge, since all flow rates increase and decrease gradually.
  • The Greenleaf Filter Control greatly reduces installation costs because deep excavations for the clearwell are unnecessary.
  • Simple controls, design simplicity, and a low number of valves reduces maintenance and the need for operator attention.

Depending on the size of the plant, single or multiple control centers can be used and the plant configuration can assume nearly any shape. The Greenleaf Filter offers functional control and easy operation without imposing design or operational restrictions.
