The ABW® Automatic Backwash Filter is a long-proven traveling bridge filter. This rapid gravity filter features a low head, shallow bed filter and is built with corrosion-resistant materials. Self-cleaning and automatic, the ABW® Filter provides performance without downtime.

• Multiple media depths are available for both single and dual media configurations.
• Wastewater units are equipped with a chemical pre-wash option.
• Potable water units feature "filter to waste" as required by many regulatory agencies.

The ABW® Filter is suitable for tertiary treatment of municipal wastewater, industrial reuse applications, and potable water treatment. It has been granted Title 22 approval as required by the California DHS for reuse applications.

A new, high strength, easy-to-install underdrain, called QuickPlate® is now available.
